How tag scores work
A fabric's tag score is split by dress part, not by area: skirt 40%, bodice 35%, sleeves 15%, collar 10%. So a high-score fabric on the bodice does a third of the work with a small cut of cloth. Requirements written as “at least X% of a fabric” go by area instead, and there the skirt dominates.
