What Prudence asks for
- Quality at least 80
- Risqué at least 85
- Glamour at least 50
- Elaborate at least 50
- Flowers no more than 0
- Only Black
“No more than” is a cap: go over it and the dress fails that line, even if everything else is perfect.
How to pass it
- Risqué: French Floral Black Lace (30 gold) is among the cheapest high scorers.
- Glamour: pick fabrics and accessories that carry the Glamour tag.
- Elaborate: pick fabrics and accessories that carry the Elaborate tag.
- Where to put it: the skirt and bodice carry 75% of a dress's tag score (40% and 35%), so use the fabric that scores the tag there. How tag scores work.
- Caps: keep Flowers at 0 or less. Check the score on the mannequin before you sew, since a single fabric or accessory can push it over.
- Quality 80: set the mannequin to Prudence's exact measurements first (fit is 20 of the 100 points), cut on grain and sew cleanly. How to get 100% quality.
- Prudence's own taste: Elegant + Glamour, silk, pink, jewel accessories. Lean that way when the brief leaves you a choice. Her profile and measurements.
